The Blacklist

Hey folks. It has been a strange week. Working on my new video review has eaten up a lot of my time and for that, I apologize for not putting up some blogs. Today we foray into TV. I know, I know. You were expecting a cheesy Sci-Fi or a Horror film that would make you queasy from description but I thought I could find something unsettling in TV and I was right. This is The Blacklist.

Thinking a plug job. Thoughts?

FBI Special Agent Elizabeth Keen (Megan Boone of Law & Order: LA, Blue Bloods, Robot Chicken, Welcome to the Jungle, The Blacklist and Family Games) starts her first day as a profiler. A day of significance for her as this marks all the hard work required as a young woman to be in such a position of authority... as it also marks the day a notorious man, Raymond Reddington(James Spader of Less than Zero,Mannequin, Jack's Back, Stargate, Wolf, Boston Legal, and Avengers: Age of Ultron) number 7 of the Most Wanted List wanders in the D.C. Branch to surrender himself to the FBI. This man has been in operation for 20 years, wining and dining some of the most elite, ruthless and unscrupulous people on the planet.

Deputy Director Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix of Dollhouse, Emily Owens, M.D.,Evidence, Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, MacBeth Unhinged, Transformers: Robots in Disguise and The Blacklist) is feeling rather smug until he finds out that Reddington has a proposition for the FBI, his little black book. Names of the most powerful and vicious creatures that wear a flesh suit. No, no supernatural angle there. Human made monsters that profit of others' suffering through drugs, sex trade, espionage, terrorism and king making. The power behind the power. Those that lurk in the shadows but operate in plain sight. One of many catches is, he will only work with Elizabeth Keen.

According the records, that is 18 terabyes of porn. That's a lot.

Case worker Agent Resseler (Diego Klattenhoff of Falling Skies, Longmire, After Earth, Homeland, Radius and The Blacklist) has poured 5 years of his life into catching Red is a bit pissed when newcomer Keen is allowed to take point with Reddington. And yes we can all jump to the conclusion he's a dick or we can watch the series unfold itself and bring about a better picture as no one character on this series feels one or two dimensional.

A character that fascinates me outright is CIA Meera Malik (Parminder Nagra of Bend It like Beckham, ER, Ella Enchanted, Alcatraz, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Blacklist and Fortitude). With the look of someone's favorite aunt or cousin with the sharp mind and conviction of an Eastwood character, she comes off commanding, courageous, calculating and charismatic.

To that end, Red holds up his end but must be allowed to continue being the bad guy, moving around and behind the scenes or no one will trust him as a bad man. With much reluctance, The FBI has a substantial and costly "black site" pulling ops on the soil and in foreign countries along side the CIA as support. Now John and Jane tax payer would probably be extremely pissed when footed with that bill but cannot deny the effect it is having on the criminal and corporate empires around the globe.

I mean the implications of the CIA working in our backyard aside from being tactical or investigative is dicey at best. Surely the NSA alone are going to have problems with this.

Why is Red doing this? To level the playing field?   What is his interest in Keen?  Is the irony of her name just someone having fun with puns?

Starting in 2013, we are up to six seasons now. To be honest, I expected this to drag as many series starting this clever would normally do. That the writers can't keep my interests and I would be solely depended upon the development of the characters but seriously, watch Season 1 and draw your own conclusions. James Spader is in his element. Coming off as charming, witty, devious and crafty it brings something you rarely see in TV. A cop drama with a key criminal element.

I haven't seen writing like this executed well since The Wire or Burn Notice and you know they each had a few episodes that were hit or miss. I look forward to seeing this go further, taking us down the rabbit hole of darkness in the hopes of being able to see the light once more.

I know you drank my smoothie, Agent Kesseler.

Bloodline

Hey folks back again. Looks like I have been requested by producer/director Benny Tjandra of Syndicate Smasher gave me a brother seeking vengeance/justice but it is also old school martial arts so yeah I can't walk away from that.
Also Benny is a very nice man and blowing off decent folk is not my style. Who knew the title was that popular, I mean there are commonly subtitle but hey we will persevere.  This is Bloodline a.k.a. Love Sick 2.

So from there on in, I was known as Mr. Clean.

On a serious note, Bloodline as a title and subtitle as far back as 1979 as a title itself.

We open with a somber musical score as our production titles fly by and...a sex scene. Okay won't be taking any screenshots here. A man and woman realizes the spark is gone out of their love life and she wants to know what is all the brooding about. Ran Keo has a lot of his mind, primarily who had the guts to kill his brother and how he is going to spread those guts all over the walls.

Flashbacks that intertwine with present day manhunt in Cambodia, it is obvious Ran Keo (Director/Actor Sam B. Lorn of Moneybally, Seven Psychopaths, Trade of Innocents, The Hangover Part III, Daddy's Love and No Escape) he did not get all his answers, we cut to Long Beach with a cop duo Kong (Daniel Lue of Loaner, Pure Genius, Lucifer and Bosch) and Tara Cruz (Mojan Nourbakhsh of Running the Code, Daddy's Love, Straw Dolls, Armenia, My Love... and Bloodline).

Also I don't know if the syndicate is supposed to be 14K triad or Taiwan's Bamboo Union Gang. Hell they could be Malaysian pirates for all I know.

Kidney punch!

The leader of the mob, Vinny (vo and actor James Taku Leung of Lovesick, Man of a Thousand Faces, Call of Duty: Black Ops, Resident Evil 6, Palace of the Damned, Wolf Mother and Westworld) is being harassed by the detectives for a girl fished out of the river with her hands and feet slashed and burned. The dead tell no tales and such.

True to his word, Vinny sics his high priced lawyer on the department with the D.A. Akemi (Gina Hiraizumi of Port Charles, Soap Girl, Camp Utopia, Only the Brave, Castle, Never Say Never, Deadly Sins and The Fast and the Fierce) and department Captain (Larry Wang Parrish of Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus, Late Autumn, The Republic, Imperial Conquest, Desire Street, Client 14, Operation Terror and Grand Theft Auto V) give them the ritual buddy cop ass chewing of going over their authority and how dare they break procedure.

Uh oh, we ran out of gas.  We're gonna make out now, right?

Ran meets up with Nimol (Mia Sun of Lure, Going Home, Trade of Innocents, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, No Escape and Small Talk) who gives him vital information on his chase of these volatile men...mostly to avenge her daughter. There's definitely more going on in that scene but I am not one for spoilers.

Vinny explains to his number one man Sonny (Stuntman/actor Vaughndio Forbes of CSI: NY, Resident Evil: Vengeance, Extraction: Genesis, Vain: This Party Sucks, Black Panther and Bloodline) that this situation has been building up for over ten years and someone has been talking.

Now just a few comments on our director, Sam B. Lorn.  He has spent his indie days after being educated in New York Film Academy and worked every aspect of film and distribution for Assembly Films, Screen Gems and The American Museum of Natural History Shelter Films.

With engrossing the Khmer-American views and stories to the movie industry, he managed get thee 2005 film, Lovesick with minor aid from Angelina Jolie.   Several of the actors from Lovesick is probably why Bloodline's working title is Lovesick 2.

The cops are going to be plenty busy picking up after Ran's spree and you'd think they have to stop and wonder if they just give him enough time, will most of these scumbags be dropped and is that a bad thing.

A few points on the protagonist, Ran can take and give a beating. He is driven by the needs to set these wrong doings right and really doesn't care about what happens to himself. That is a dangerous man to cross.

Really felt like a love letter to Michael Winner's Death Wish with Charles Bronson or perhap John Woo's Hard Boiled with Yun-Fat Chow. Solid handheld camera work, good martial arts choreography, a real throwback to the late 70s to early 80s action dramas of the time.
Now understand, that the violence is nowhere near either of those films.  Toning it down was actually a good way to go in my humble opinion but still comes off as a hard nosed guy wanting to take the lives of the men that stole from him so much.

Sam B. Lorn gives a substantial performance as an actor and this cast and crew move like water under his direction. I hope to see more of his work in the future. Definitely a name I will be keeping track of.

Okay that is just pretty to stare at.

Kill, Baby...Kill!

Hey folks. Sorry for the delay from the Z Nation Season 3 review. I was working on the next Rotten Reelz Reviews Video Review script and my dad has undergone a bypass surgery. He is off his ventilation tubes and breathing normally. So yeah we can unclench for a few now.

Today's movie revolves around a coroner, his assistant, some supernatural shenanigans, a village gripped in fear and a local witch doing good deeds? Brought to you by the Godfather of Giallo: Mario Bava. This is Kill, Baby...Kill!

Meh, look at this ignorant rabble.

Yup, we should have known this would have alternative English titles to the likes of: Don't Walk in the Park, Operation Fear, Curse of the Dead and Curse of the Living Dead.

In the year of our lord 1907, Dr. Paul Eswai (Giacomo Rossi Stuart of Zorro and the Three Musketeers, Sodom and Gomorrah, The Last Man on Earth, War Between the Planets,The Crimes of the Black Cat, The Lonely Woman and Zorro) has been called to the Carpathian village of Karmingam to do an autopsy on a young woman.  The girl, Irena Hollander died under mysterious circumstances... in a horror movie.  How bizarre.  Yeah she fell from a high window and impaled on a iron fence post is a tad odd.

His assistant Monica (Erika Blanc of Espionage in Lisbon, Kill,Baby...Kill!, A Man for Emmanuelle, Eye of the Cat, The Mistress Is Served,Sacred Heart and A Second Childhood) must vouch for his work as a witness as Eswai finds a silver coin in Irena's heart. Well how did that get there? Maybe she swallowed it. With the local villagers being devout believers of magical happenings and superstitions, they tell Eswai that the town is haunted by ghost of a young girl who curses those who visits.
Naturally, a man of science can't take this seriously. Poppycock! Balderdash I say! Hrrumph! Meanwhile, I am thinking you need an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on your back, a young priest and an old priest at the ready.

I took acid and now I can flyyyyy!!!

Esawi is set to meet Inspector Kruger (Revolt of the Praetorians, Django Kill...If You Live,Shoot!, Fury of Achilles, Hell Commandos, When Heroes Die and My Dear Killer), the man that requested this autopsy in the first place. He is to arrange said meeting at the villa of Baroness Graps (Giovanna Galletti of I fratelli Karamazov, I miserabli, Eneide, Last Tango in Paris, The Girl in Room 2A and Woman of Wonders) when the Baroness tells the good doctor there is no Inspector Kruger... DUN DUN DUN DUN!!!!

The innkeeper's daughter Nadienne (Micaela Esdra of Highest Pressure, Made in Italy, Il muro, Nero Wolfe, I Nicotera, Philo Vance and La villa) claims to be visited by the ghost girl next to be cursed so the local witch Ruth (yes Ruth) performs a ritual to lift the curse. Leaving his cellphone in another century (don't you hate it when you do that?) Eswai confabs with the burgomeister Karl (Piero Lulli of Love Story, Knights of the Desert, Rapture, The Huns, The Two Gladiators, Django Kill and My Name is Nobody) about this Santa Claus fellow. No wait. Kris Kringle. No, wait...right, the ghost girl. Got baffled for a moment.

Selling...girl scout...cookiessss... buy 10 of them....

Karl is claiming the child is actually the ghost Melissa Graps, the dead daughter of the Baroness who is responsible for both Irene and the Inspector Kruger's disappearance.  Eswai heads to the cemetery where two gravediggers are hastily burying a coffin with Kruger in it.  Guess the Baroness don't pay no OT.

Will Esawi figure out how to combat the spooky child? Can anything be done to put her spirit to rest?

Shot in 12 days in the region of Cargata, this small commune has been an artist retreat since the 1930s giving it an amazing look for Americans to find out that ancient towns and villages do exist in the world and not just in cinema.

Domestically it grossed 201 million lire which tallies to about...oh.   117 thousand 5 hundred 20.

Moving on, it would then be three years before Mario Bava would do another horror film which was Hatchet for the Honeymoon or The Red Sign of Madness, the 1970 giallo film.

An spectral crawly film that gets under your skin and innverves you. I enjoyed it. That being said, English dub actor/writer Renato Izzo makes Eswai sound pompous to John Agar levels.   Arrogant and condescending.  That means he speaks down to you as if you were an errant, lost child.

Calm yourself, woman. Be cold and detached, like me.

Z Nation Season 3

Avast ye blog readers! I be Jake of the Rotten Reelz Reviews. Here I be tellin' ye a tale of...

Okay I have to just stop that now. It's gotten silly. So what's goin' on, folks? Well to be warned, this blog entry will contain spoilers from last season of Z Nation. Anyone not up on it and doesn't want their Seasons 1 and 2 ruined, then turn away. For the rest of you, on we go. When we last left our heroes, they had just passed Murphy off to the CDC lab aboard what looks to be a Los Angeles class submarine but I think it was closer to Virgina class.

Be that as it may, the whole scenario went pear shaped with an explosion and Murphy nibbled some of the crew making them blended zombies and took 10k with him as well. This is Z Nation Season 3.

Looks like Midwest zombies to me.

We have a bit of a flashback as we get more info about the alleged zombie-free island known as Zona. Apparently these rich fat cats, captains of industry and some politicians left the USZ (United States of Zombie) to fend for themselves while they hid in luxury and comfort. Along with their ill-gotten gains, they have abducted an handful the last scientists that could benefit humanity for their own end.

Warren and crew end up captured by Republic of China commandos searching for Murphy to make serum from his blood. The lot throw in with the commandos in the hopes they can figure out what to do next. As if Blasters, Nukes, Plant Zombies, Speed Zombies weren't hell enough, a breed of humans known as Enders roaming about.

Make no mistake, folks. These cats are full on Reavers. Completely devoid of mercy, rational thought and possibly cannibalistic. Deep in sunny Southern California. Say aren't those my stomping grounds?

You did not just crop dust me. Oh, hell no.

10k appears to be in Murphy's clutches and he is trying to bring about a new world order of blended zombie humans which he can mentally control. Yes Murphy is officially a zombie master. Lording over a region of Spokane. His old stomping grounds made his new kingdom.

Can Warren and gang fight their way through the hordes and get Murphy back to the mission?

Well the SFX makeup still is just as good as any of Nicotero's crew in The Walking Dead. The stories are still captivating balancing the right amount of comedy with tragedy and dammit if we have need of exposition, it better be for a good reason.  Nice to be in a zompocalypse show not going on and on about what it was like in the day.

Plenty of guest stars to be found and surprises to be had. Stay tuned!

Ahh!!!  Commie Zombie!!!  A Combie!

Holy Terror

Back in action, folks and boy this Horror flick has gone off the rails with this crazy train.
This film hails from director/writer/script supervisor Rich Mallery (Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance, Table Top, Sociopathia, Holy Terror and Darling Nikki) we have demons, the dead and more than a handful of folk I recognize. This is Holy Terror.

Whatever would you like to do, Tom?

Our film wastes no time as we have an exorcism interspersed with credit and title card. Father Murphy (Mel Novak of Game of Death, Black Belt Jones, An Eye for an Eye, Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance, Syndicate Smasher and Nemesis 5: The New Model ) is attempting to eject a demon from his stolen vessel Hayley (Vida Ghaffari of The Mindy Project, The Catch, Facebook Live with Ford and Vida, Horndogs Beach Party, Hybristophilia and Abeyance).   When things don't go according to the good book, Father Murphy's faith was positively shattered.  With in the first three minutes!   That is setting a dark tone, my friends.

We cut to a quiet dinner with married couple, Molly (Kelly Lynn Reiter of The Hunger Games, My Crazy Ex, Sandy Wexler, The Z Virus, Bikini Car Wash Massacre and Dead De La Creme) and Tom (Jesse Hlubik of Jack and Jill, Down the Barrel, Drake and Josh Go Hollywood, General Hospital and All Cheerleaders Die) who seemed to be going through a rough patch in their marriage. Through a dream sequence, the power of flashback shows a small boy in the midst of memories.
With a bit of exposition, tastefully done I might add; we know that the wee bairn Joshua is no longer in the picture and both Molly and Tom are devastated. Thankfully they are not lashing out at each other in this time of depression.

With Tom off to work (which he starts breaking down and crying, trying to keep his crap together but an ocean sized wave of depression is slapping him down), Molly proceeds to do some chores around the house. She swears she saw something up the stairs but dismisses it easily enough. A loud thumping noise occurs and of course Molly goes to investigate. Molly sweetie, loud thumping is universal for call the cops. There may be a prowler looting. A knock at the door brings about Molly's little sister, Billie (Nicole Olson of Holy Terror).

Okay lady, you've had a bit to drink already.

Tom does not approve...mostly because Billie is apparently a thief and junkie. Molly defends her to deal with her own pain of loss. Billie needs to sleep better and nothing suggests like cocaine. Wait, what? Hmm, I can't throw stones. I usually have a cup of coffee to unwind at night. Mind you it's not a narcotic but eh. Billie has some sort of fit in the night with huge bruising on her leg. Must have been a "Big maaaan." With a worship of the porclean shrine, Billie and Molly have a heart to heart of anguish.

Molly's Aunt Janice (Lisa London of H.O.T.S., Sudden Impact, Dragnet, Savage Beach, Eight Days Carlo, Do You See Me and Darling Nikki) is a spiritualist/new age psychic/crystal hugger. She thinks there is a spirit in the house wanting to communicate with Molly and Tom. Got to say Tom is handling junkie sis and new age mysticism pretty well. You can see it is bubbling to the surface but he hasn't call the cops or gone for a gun. The man is grieving and is only being there for his wife for this.

So with a metronome (a device that produces audible clicks or sounds due to an interval that is set by the user) and a rotary phone(look up rotary phone yourself), the three attempt to reach the other side. Janice senses a entity that is definitely not Joshua. She's freaked because something is trying to get into the world. Something's wrong in the neighborhood...well an unlicensed nuclear accelerator on one's back would make me feel safer. Possibly some salt and iron as well. Cover all bases, man.

I...ate the last...pierogi. I'm so sorry.

Billie is roaming around in a little black dress and her behavior is downright predatory. Billie is just off her trolley as if someone or some thing is speaking through her. Janice contacts her friend Jacob (Scott Butler of Hollywood Hell, The Omegas, Edge, Wiener Dog Nationals, Zombie Night, and Defenders of Time) the young priest training under Father Murphy had lost his faith but must summon his courage to fight against the evil trapped in Billie. We still sure it's not a bad hop? Jacob tracks down nun Catherine (Kristine DeBell of The Great American Girl Robbery, Tag: The Assassination Game, 1313: Night of the Widow, The Great Halloween Puppy Adventure, A Talking Cat!?!, and 3 Wicked Witches) cannot up and join him to fend off the demon. She is bound by church rules as an exorcism is very taxing and highly dangerous to the host.

Can Father Jacob succeed were Father Murphy failed? Can good triumph over evil??

So what I am gathering from the IMDB user reviews, this is "An Exorcist knock off, too slow paced and crap performances". Yes this story is about possession, spirit manifestations and good vs evil, I grant you. Whereas Regan and her mother dealt with atheism and were still saved by a servant of God, Tom and Molly suffered the ultimate parents' nightmare losing their child and a demon tormenting those around them for its own malefic ends.

Okay fine. This is not a big budgeted horror film. We have a serious cast, some good performances, slow tension build up, great camera work and our musical score has left us with an creepy vibe. I think the biggest complaints is the girls in the film don't get naked. Wow, reaching deep there, fellas. So without the promise of nudity, there is no movie? More than half of these remarks aren't even critics. Just trolls with too much free time and not able to comport themselves with a bit of dignity.

So yes, if you like battles of good and evil on an uneven playing field, then come watch Holy Terror.

That could use some Lush facial scrub.

An Interview with Vida Ghaffari

Hey folks. Today's review isn't one. Rather I was asked by an actress/voice actress appearing in Mind of Mencia, Jimmy Kimmel Live and The Mindy Project. This actress sought me out as she has previously worked with a mutual friend Dustin Ferguson (Doll Killer, Die Sister, Die!, Gloved Murderess, Cheerleader Camp: To the Death, Invitation to Die and Nemesis 5: The New Model) and I admire that level of boldness.  Let's see what we can learn.

So you do a Suspense Show for an audio drama.  Why voice work?  "It was something I fell into and enjoyed doing when I was an entertainment reporter for an international satellite Persian TV station a while back. I had to voice my promos in Farsi and English and joked that did twice as much work for half the pay! So I actually started out in vo before acting. While I love the field of voice over, some of the industry is suffering from all the underpaid work that is unfortunately and oddly enough part of all this great technology, where anyone anywhere can do vo for often little to no payment and undervalue it, especially commercially."

"Dave and Dave Recording Studios are one of the best in trends and technical.

Veteran voice announcer Don LaFontane has a studio named after him with his passing in 2008.  Don LaFontaine Voiceover Lab with the SAG-AFTRA Foundation.   Some of my mentors were mentored by Don and they are just paying it forward with the same patience and grace he had."

For those that do not know, this gruff voiced man was known in the biz as King of the Movie Trailers, The Voice and The Godfather of Trailers. "In a world..." Ring any bells? Okay fine. Xena's promo announcer, Renegade's narrator and JAG's opening narrator to name just some of the man's work.

Rock' N' Sexxxy with Amber Lynn and Yan Birch

I understand that you have been a reoccurring guest host on Amber Lynn's Rock 'N' Sexxxy for LA Talk Radio. I have listened to only a handful of her interviews but I admit I am slowly becoming a fan.   "Amber is lovely, outgoing and such a fine host. She always makes an interview fun. I'm so flattered that she thought of me and extended the gracious invite. I'm more east coast and she's an Orange County gal at heart, so I think it's a good combination. We just had Yan Birch on that Thursday. I had just acted with him in a film called Abeyance."

Yan Birch who I knew as Stairmaster from Wes Craven's People Under the Stairs. I was just looking at this man's bio and it is vast.  "He is such a great actor and take great pauses and goes from moment to moment with such an intensity. He does so much with his eyes. It's riveting."   Both Vida and I are convinced the man stopped aging. I am going with Highlander immortal to explain it.

It is my take that Amber can get answers with ease and seems to be easy going.  My friend Dustin Ferguson was the first interview I heard when he was plugging Nemesis 5: The New Model.

Vida found Dustin to be so hardworking all the time. They were at a film festival this past spring when his film was screening and he had to head out to finish some more editing for another project. I'm assuming it was right after the Q and A. "He gets the most out of every scene and he is great at what he does". I confirmed he and I could speak obscure films all day long.

Daiane Azura and Vida team-up!

Abeyance is Sci-fi/Action with Billy Wirth of War Party, The Lost Boys, Scout Taylor Taylor-Compton of Halloween 1 and 2, Richard Tyson of Three O' Clock High. " Richard Tyson has a MFA from Cornell and is an actor's actor.   This open and humble man from Mobile, Alabama and is down to Earth and centered. He recited Shakespearean sonnets in between takes with perfection and ease!"   Birch, who was referenced above, also starred in this film along with noted actor Mel Novak from Bruce Lee's Game of Death
Director Harley Wallen directs like a captain of the ship, constantly there but not checking on you. He knows what you can do and what you are capable of. Such a tremendous talent. What a treat it was to work with him and might I add that he had an amazing crew!"

Let's talk about Facebook Live with Ford and Vida. How did this come about?

"We were all over L.A. Because Ford put me in touch with Artists for Trauma and we promoted charity events but ironically our first show was a wedding and jewelry for Macy's. He was the first person to receive this help after being in this horrific car accident, he was told he may never walk again and two years after the accident he was back to singing, dancing and acting once more.
He is a on-point lovely fellow and his wife Lauree Dash is an open hearted person that is heart centered person, that made a great power couple."

Just got done watching Mel Novak in Holy Terror.   Couldn't help but recognize some folk I recognize in it.  Like Kristine DeBell of Meatballs, Battle Creek Brawl and Blood Brothers.   I swear I am not aging myself on purpose.

You worked with Dawna Lee Heising of Natural Born FilmmakersHorndog's Party Beach and Copperhead Creek.  "Yes, we just shot Horndog's Beach Party and Dawna was incredible as the nosy cougar next door. Most actors would play a caricature, but Dawna dug deep!  Though the film is comedy in the vein of Porky's, I like the believability of it.  If I haven't said it enough already, Dustin is an incredible director.  I dunno when the guy sleeps. He's always working on something!"
What do you have coming up?
I have a film I'm working on this fall and I'm re-occurring on the Suspense Show on XM Satellite Radio. I recently voiced an episode with Adrienne Wilkinson (Xena: Princess Warrior) and Keston John (Bosch). I also voiced an episode with Mel that will hopefully be up soon, where I play the ultimate femme fatale. I was just nominated for best voiceover for another episode I voiced, "Have A Hacking, Whacking Christmas" at the 2018 Los Angeles Nollywood Awards this Sunday, August 5th at the Miracle Theater in Inglewood.  Mel, Dawna, and Dustin are all nominated for Sci Fi awards for their work on Nemesis 5: The New Model.  Harley is also nominated in the Thriller category and so is his talented and stunning wife Kaiti. More info at http://lanfaa.com/

Voice actor, hostess, actress, comedian and fashion guru, it is safe to say that Vida has drive, ambition but is modest at her accomplishments. With a wry sarcastic humor she is very warm and inviting with no apprehension I could find. Polite and charming with passion for her family, friends and projects. She has been referenced as the "Persian Linda Blair" thanks to her work in Holy Terror and to be honest, it felt like stepping back in time. Watching the Exorcist for the first time. Keep your eyes peeled for Abeyance and Copperhead Creek in works now and keep watch of this rising star.

Yes, I will give a review on Holy Terror.
