A&E Mysteries

We all have seen one or two during the 1980s and 1990s.  They cropped up around dinner time and we may have very causally glanced at them only to be ensorceled to watching more and more.  I speak of the awesome power of the time period murder mysteries.   From more modern series like Inspector Lewis to the astounding yet snarky Ms. Marple, these shows have been clever, witty, dramatic and even bone chilling in its execution of the darker side of humanity.   It is this very concept that I have chosen this week to speak of.  As for my not being here for the past three days.  Sinus headaches have been positively divine in putting an unwanted stop gap in my writing.
